"Frontiers" Road School Mission Trip - Summer 2006
Have you ever tried to build a house from top to bottom? Me neither. But I’d imagine that its stability would be jeopardized on account of the strange and wobbly foundation.
We arrived at Sandy Cove on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We weren’t quite sure what to expect, because it was a different setting than the previous stops.
If I learned anything on this trip, I learned about discipleship. AIM is primarily a discipleship ministry, and outreach and evangelism naturally flow from that.
1 Timothy 4:12 is a call to each of us to set the example, no matter our age, and God was calling the Frontiers Mission Trip to live up to this challenge, right out of training camp.
Our stop in Springfield, VA was filled with amazing experiences and opportunities. We were able to do a workshop at a local church, and had an opportunity to help the church by doing a service project.
Arriving at our host homes at about midnight was quite tiring, especially after getting up early that morning. But God gave us the energy we needed to get through the day.
